The Thinlicious way of eating and our Thin Adapted System is based on metabolic science and focuses on cutting out foods with a high-glycemic index that will spike your blood sugar, such as refined carbohydrates and sugar.
This is a similar approach as seen in other low-carb diet plans, such as keto, Atkins or the South Beach diet, which means that most of our recipes can be considered keto friendly.
However, unlike "traditional" keto, which often focuses on eating as much fat as possible without regard to nutritional content, we encourage more protein, along with a variety of low-glycemic, fiber-rich vegetables and fruits.
While keto has exploded in popularity over the past few years, there is actually a whole lot of misinformation about how and why low-carb diets actually work and the science behind them.
The ultimate goal of our program is to a.) help women better understand how different foods affect our metabolism in order to avoid making the common mistakes that prevent them from seeing weight loss success and b.) to make adhering to a low-carb lifestyle feel convenient, easy, delicious and sustainable.
There are a lot of reasons why diets don't work, but one of the main reasons is that as humans we don't function well when we are hungry.
Our metabolism slows down to preserve energy, we get cranky and irritable, and we struggle to concentrate. It's not a sustainable way to exist, which is why when we try to deprive ourselves of food for a prolonged period of time, our willpower finally gives out, and we end up overindulging even more.
But a lack of willpower is only the beginning.
Because the REAL problem is not that we are eating too much, it's that we are eating the wrong things. The modern Western diet is packed with high-glycemic foods and refined carbohydrates that tend to spike our blood sugar and keep our insulin levels elevated all the time, which prevents our body from being able to burn fat for fuel.
But if you are able to eat in a way that keeps your blood sugar low, you can eat to satiety and still lose weight. And because you're not constantly hungry, it's easy to maintain this way of eating indefinitely.

Our Thin Adapted System program includes Phase 0, which walks you through a series of steps to prepare for the program. During this Phase, you’ll receive a comprehensive prep guide with a list of recommended foods and supplies to get before you begin in order to make following our system as easy and painless as possible!
Our program is specifically tailored to the unique needs of women over 40, who tend to have the biggest struggles with metabolic issues due to the changes in our hormones as we get older (and the hardest time losing weight). That said, our program is also perfectly appropriate for men or for women under 40.
If you already have an established workout routine that you love, we recommend sticking with it as you get started. If not, we recommend first focusing on changing the way you EAT before worrying about incorporating exercise and fitness into your routine, as changing your food will be responsible for approximately 95% of your results.
Once you move into Phase 2, you'll learn how and when to begin introducing exercise into your weight loss plan and what types of exercises are recommended to burn fat and build your lean muscle mass in order to accelerate your results.

While ALL our welcome in our program, we also know that women over 40 face some unique challenges when it comes to weight loss in terms of both hormonal changes and demands on your time. We address both.

Our Meal Plans and Zero Deprivation Cookbook feature low carb/keto friendly and almost entirely gluten-free. While many of our recipes do contain meat, fish, dairy and other items that may not fit within your own dietary preferences, an endless number of substitutions are possible (and easy!)
Our program is designed to be flexible, and to work for your schedule. All of our in-depth curriculum lessons, as well as all bonus lessons, have been pre-recorded and added to our course portal for you to watch on your own time, at your own convenience, which makes it super easy to make the program work with any schedule. For those who join the Platinum or Diamond levels, we provide a monthly schedule for live group coaching and accountability calls, which are scheduled at a variety of times throughout the week to help accommodate all different time zones and schedules. The Thin Adapted System™ (which we refer to as TAS) is our comprehensive signature program, designed to help you lose weight and dramatically improve your health by fixing the root causes of weight gain and hormonal imbalance.
Our program is split into the following phases:
PHASE 0 | PREPARE
During Phase 0 – the Prepare phase – you’ll get introduced to the program via our 10-day Jumpstart. This phase is designed to help you gain confidence in the kitchen, plan your first week of meals, gather your supplies, and take our Starting Assessment. This phase will fully prepare you for successfully starting Phase 1.
PHASE 1 | ACCLIMATE
During Phase 1—the Acclimate phase—your primary goal is to switch your body from burning carbs to burning fat as its default source of fuel and to become fully Thin Adapted.
During this phase, which typically lasts for 4-6 weeks, you can expect to lose some weight—typically between 7-15 pounds—but in order for your body to continue burning fat you will need to move into Phase 2.
PHASE 2 | IGNITE (Weight Loss Mode!)
Phase 2—the Ignite phase—begins once your body has become fully Thin Adapted. You’ll know you’ve made the switch when you feel a significant increase in energy, as well as a marked decrease in hunger, and you will continue to lose weight at a steady pace.
We split this phase into two sub-phases—Phase 2A, Spark and Phase 2B, Flame. In Phase 2A you will adjust your macros, then begin incorporating new elements such as intermittent fasting and Protein Fast Days into your routine to help accelerate your fat loss.
In Phase 2B, you will begin incorporating Fat Burning workouts, as well as adding in supplements to help build strength and enhance your results. You’ll be ready to move to Phase 2B when you’ve completed your Phase 2A checklist.
PHASE 3 | MAINTAIN
Phase 3 begins once you have reached your weight loss goal. This is where the Thin Adapted System becomes part of your everyday lifestyle—a way of eating that is easy to stick to, even as part of a busy life, and never feels restrictive or cumbersome.
Our TAS Program walks you through each of these three phases in meticulous detail, providing you with both practical instruction and a clear understanding of the underlying metabolic science, so that you can begin to confidently make better choices that lead to long-term, sustainable results.

Thinlicious™ and the Thin Adapted System™ are not intended to be a crash diet, because we know that diets don't work. Instead, they are intended to be a new and delicious way of eating that you can easily maintain for life. As with any type of weight loss program, results from TAS will vary and be largely impacted by a number of factors.
That said, our participants typically see noticeable results within 2 weeks of starting the program and have lost anywhere from 15- 40 pounds in the first 3 months, and as much as 60 pounds in 6 months. Please note that these stats are NOT meant to be a guarantee and are for reference only.
We've done our best to make food prep on our plan as simple and painless as possible.
First, all of our recipes are designed to be quick, easy and absolutely delicious. Most can be prepared in 30 minutes or less. Not only that, it's food you'll actually enjoy eating and food the rest of your family will happily eat right alongside you! (We promise they won't even know it's healthy!)
We also provide complete shopping lists for each week's plan, along with weekly "prep ahead" guides, so that you don't have to waste time figuring out what you'll need. This step alone will save you hours!
That said, our program is also easy to follow on the go, whether you're constantly eating out or on the road. We have customers who haven't cooked a single recipe but have still been successful following our plan guidelines. Just check out Anne's story!
With more than 100 recipes to choose from, there is definitely something for (almost) everyone in the Thin Adapted System.
Many of our recipes are already gluten-free, dairy-free, low calorie or low carb, and many others can be easily modified to suit your unique dietary needs.
While we do have vegetarians (and even a few vegans) in our program, you should know this is definitely a program that focuses heavily on eating plenty of nutrient-dense, protein-rich foods, which include a lot of meat. Please take this into consideration before joining the program.
